Not sure how many tiles you need?
To calculate how many tiles you need multiply sq.feet by
the amount of tiles that cover 1 sq foot.
How to Calculate Square Footage
Multiply the width by the length to get
the square footage of a square or rectangular wall.
Example: 8 feet x 2 feet=16 square feet
Converting sq. inches to sq. footage
To convert sq inches to sq feet , divide sq inches by 144.
Example: 100"x 18"=1800 sq.inches:144=12.5 sq.feet
Calculating amount of tile needed.
Example: 4"x 4" tiles
12.5 square feet x 9 tiles per sq.ft=112 tiles
Longest length times the longest width gives you SQ. FT.
and than use the chart below:
this will give you how many tiles yo need:
4"x 4" multiply your SQ. FT by 9
6"x 2.5" multiply your SQ. FT by 9
6"x 6" multiply your SQ. FT by 4
12"x 6" multiply your SQ. FT by 2
12"x 2.5" multiply your SQ. FT by 4.5
8"x 4" multiply your SQ. FT by 4.5
